Excellent - but need to know where I can buy the 15-20 PG books that I do not have without spending an arm and a ear for a 1st edition.

Great site! I love PG Wodehouse, specially Bertie and Jeeves. I have just been exposed to PG+Wodehouse, and laugh constantly with his work. Keep up the good work.

Great stuff, old boy! As a long time PWG fanatic I plan to visit all sites about him - will keep me busy on the net for a while. But first I must finish rereading "Do Butlers Burgle Banks?"
Had no idea about the "By Jeeves" musical - must find CD or something. Thanks! Are women allowed in the Drone club these days?

Subject: I tried to sign your guestbook, but alas...

Just wanted to say "hello", since this was my first visit to a Russian homepage (and I've been on the net for 4 years, I suppose it's rather embarrasing). Well, that was about it, I guess. If anybody feels like mailing with a Danish graduate student of Mathematical Economics (University of Copenhagen, Denmark), who's incidentally a huge Wodehouse-fan, FEEL FREE :-)

Sincerely yours

PS The Guestbook wouldn't admit my quips, so I thought I'd write you directly.

A truly magnificant website! We all hope you can make it to Houston, Texas in 1999 for a meeting of The Wodehouse Society. These are perhaps a trifle unruly, but terrifically bracing and always bonhomous, if you know what I mean. Bring your elephant gun, and be prepared for a game of Persian Monarchs with yours truly,

None of my friends read, so you won't be surprised to know that none of my friends read Wodehouse. It makes me want to take a swing at some of them. I should also add that Wodehouse has ruined my life. Shortly after discovering Bertie Wooster, I realized that I myself was fit for no other life than that of the idle and rich. Alas, I'm not idly rich, and despite all the idling around I'm doing I contin ue to make no progress whatsoever toward my goal.

Thanks so much for the site.

I attempted to sign on to your guest book, but ended up sending a blank e-mail, I'm afraid. Anyways, I was very glad to run across your Wodehouse site through a Yahoo search. By the way, my favorite author, Hilaire Belloc, was a Wodehouse fan. You can visit the Belloc site at If it's alright, I'll add a link to your site from mine. I took the oppty. to use one of your Jeeves pics for my computer wallpaper. Good luck. In the meantime, I'll enjoy reading my first Wodehouse book (having only watched the TV series previously).
